As many of you know, brother Wylie served as President of the Theta Chi Building Corporation for several years during which time many improvements were made to our fraternity house. Also a long term maintenance plan was established to maintain the quality of our property. Steve was also passionate about his birds and zoos, as depicted in the stories below. Like many of us that have walked these halls and have been influenced by great men of Theta Chi before us, and as we return as alumni we have the opportunity to influence the next men of Theta Chi, Brother Wylie was one of those great men.

Needless to say, college life was full of parties and other social events. I fondly remember those Sunday mornings when we escorted one of the sororities to church after an occasional night of frivolity and libation. Making one’s self presentable was a challenge, particularly the task of disguising what I had indulged in the night before. I haven’t chewed that much gum since.
