Carmel/Monterey California
June 21-24th, 2022
The host hotel is the Holiday Inn Express in Monterey itself. It’s walking distance, to the aquarium, cannery row, and some amazing restaurants.
Itinerary (preliminary)
21st - Arrive, relax, Dinner and Drinks at nearby restaurant 6.00pm
22nd - Breakfast, then the wonderful, Monterey Aquarium. Includes a guided tour, and behind the scenes glimpse. After lunch time to visit the delights of Cannery row, for history, snacks and shopping. Dinner at another fantastic restaurant
23rd - Breakfast, then wine tasting in Carmel Valley. Danica and Jon were married here for a reason, I look forward to sharing this hidden gem with you. Lunch at Phil’s Fish Market, Moss Landing https://philsfishmarket.com/ Return to Monterey for rest, drinks and evening snacks
24th Brunch in Carmel Valley, and departures.
I appreciate that this may look a little bit light in detail, but it will be added to.
Couple of things to consider. You can fly into Monterey, however flights and choices are limited - you might want to consider San Francisco, San Jose or Oakland, and rent a car. It’s a 90/120 minute drive. Also, it is both difficult and very costly to hire ‘limo’ buses in the height of the season. For that reason, if you could advise where and when, whether you will rent a car (or maybe a minivan) we will make sure all are buddied up.
