Meet our new House Mom

Katie Kodad

Theta Chi House Mom

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I had a great student experience during my undergraduate career and knew that I wanted to be a positive resource for college students, so after teaching in Lincoln Public Schools for a semester, I returned to the University, where I have worked in Admissions and with the William H. Thompson Scholars Learning Community. I am currently working on my Master’s degree in Educational Administration, so I can be a resource for students both in their academic success and personal development. I absolutely love playing sports and going to sporting events. I also enjoy traveling and am very excited to be the new House Mom for Theta Chi!

Alumni/Actives Workdays 2017

Brothers,

On behalf of the Building Corporation, I want to express our sincere appreciation to everyone for their invaluable efforts during the Work Weekend. Together we are making unprecedented improvements to the Theta Chi House and its property.  Certainly over the last few years the changes have been noticeable and with the potential of the mortgage being retired, future improvements can be addressed in a more timely fashion.

On a personal note, I want to express my sincere thanks to Dan Novinsky and Fred Garvey, for keeping us on task and to alums Bill Shreffler, Buzz Selko, Larry Ruth, Cody Schilling and Jerry Clark for their individual work efforts. It is greatly appreciated.

I look forward to next year's Work Weekend and all the fun that goes with it. Happy shuffle boarding!
