Sentimental Sweethearts of Theta Chi

Theta Chi Sweethearts:

A recent review of the Theta Chi brothers that have passed on to Chapter Eternal reveals there are a significant number of “surviving spouses.”  

In my role with the Theta Chi Alumni Association- NWU I have witnessed how involved and supportive our fraternity brother’s partners have been in our activities and those of Wesleyan.  We don’t want to forget these fine ladies!

A new initiative is being launched where your staying in touch with “each other” is facilitated together with updates on the Alumni Association, the many achievements of the Theta Chi active chapter, and Wesleyan. A chosen name for the group is the “Sentimental Sweethearts of Theta Chi,” (SSTC.)  You certainly will also be invited to attend our biennial reunions.  The next reunion is now scheduled for June of 2022 in Monterey, California.

Vonda Mays of Tampa, Florida, whose husband Don, class of 1962, passed on to Chapter Eternal on January 1, 2020, has enthusiasm for the Sentimental Sweethearts idea and has agreed to be the “leader” of the group.  With Vonda’s experience as an award winning school administrator, I know she will do and excellent job.  You will be hearing from Vonda soon.
